Yameng Cui, MEd

Yameng Cui is a doctoral student in the Teaching, Learning, and Technology program at Lehigh University. She is interested in engaging students in learning, increasing their interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, as well as helping the students to apply what they learned into the real world. Before starting the doctoral program, she was an ESL teacher and instructional designer to help her students and audiences better understand their needs as well as the learning content.

She currently works at Lehigh University as a Graduate Assistant and is awarded Shupe III assistantship. She received her M. Ed in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from University at Buffalo, and B.A in Business English from International Studies University.

Besides her academic studies, she enjoys traveling with her family and friends to learn about life, nature, as well as people from different cultures.
