Debra Rubart, MS

Debra enjoys creating learning experiences in the virtual space that not only meet the course's goals and objectives, but also create an environment where learners feel empowered and that they belong to a community. She is interested in how people learn, which has led to her involvement in a team STEM-based UX research project focused on understanding adult learners' preferences.

Debra holds a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Lehigh University and a Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Technology and Management from DeSales University. She also holds a certificate in Learning Design in Educational and Professional Settings from Lehigh University. She regularly volunteers for The Open Line and as a judge for the Lehigh Valley Science and Engineering Research Fair.

Debra enjoys time with family and friends. She also enjoys genealogy research and quiet walks in the woods.
